White Sand Games

White Sand Games produces the educational and fun board game, Fossil Island. Bonnie Hemstad, an elementary school teacher with 35 years of experience, developed and created Fossil Island. She recognized the need for a game that could be played by children with different levels of expertise and that was easy and fun to learn. Fossil Island was designed to review number skills, but the lessons can be completely changed by simply using a different card deck (available soon) without the cost of buying an entirely new game. Children will learn that winning isn’t the most important thing, but it’s really about each persons personal accomplishments.
