Words of the Wise by Griddly Games

Words of the Wise turns the alphabet into a challenging and fun game. You pick a Category Card from the deck and have to think quickly to come up with words that match alphabetically. Words of the Wise gets players to do some fast and creative thinking! ABC may be easy, but the real challenge is to see if you can get to XYZ. Players have the option of doing it on their own, going head to head or competing in teams.

Words of the Wise can be played in English, French, Spanish and German. Language translations are included on each card. The travel- friendly size makes it perfect for playing while in the car, on a plane, on camping trips or almost anywhere.

There are 3 ways to play Words of the Wise

• Standard Round A card is picked from the top of the deck. Each player gives a word in alphabetic order (A to Z) relating to the category. If a player gets stumped they are eliminated from the round. The last player left wins the points posted on the card.
  
• Speed Round Each player takes a pen and paper and on "Go" writes down in alphabetical order all of the words they can relate to the category. The first person to call out "time" stops the clock. The player with the best answers wins the point.
  
• Challenge Round The player must complete the entire alphabet of the subject on their own to receive points.
